Crop-Hail Insurance differs slightly from Multi-Peril Crop Insurance. It is regulated by state governments and covers a smaller variety of perils. Perils covered by Crop/Hail insurance include hail, flood, fire, wind and even vandalism. 

Crop-Hail Insurance may be purchased anytime during the growing season. Crop/Hail coverage is often used as an additional coverage with the purchase of Multi-Peril Crop Insurance.
